Our silence room is a ready-to-use resource for you to experience clarity of mind and inner stillness, either quietly or through guided meditations.
We offer a variety of lectures, courses, and workshops designed to deepen spiritual wisdom and help make meditation a joyful and regular practice. We encourage you to peruse our calendar for upcoming events, choose one or more of particular interest, and come visit us.
All of our activities are offered free of charge as a community service. The Manhattan Meditation Center functions with voluntary contributions by those who have benefited from its activities.
You are warmly invited to join us on the journey into spiritual wisdom, into a celebration of life, and into the calm that comes through meditation.
Rona Schweitz is a Raja Yoga Meditation teacher and coordinator for the Brahma Kumaris Manhattan Meditation Center in New York. She is a medical doctor by profession; but, her conviction that most of the ailments of human beings have their roots at the emotional and spiritual level inspired her to dedicate herself full time to the work of the Brahma Kumaris over the last 15 years. She is an avid meditator and spiritual student with the Brahma Kumaris for more than 30 years. She is also author of an incredible book, Experiential Meditation, which provides a step-by-step approach to enhance your meditation experiences. The book is also available for purchase at this website.
